Carrying cash

I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. You can give it to people freely, it streamlines street vendor, farmers market, or parking attendant interactions, and the taco truck might give you a discount. Overall improves daily interactions and “widening the opportunity for luck to hit you” in the city. Plus spending it or giving it away feels free! AND sometimes you can say “keep the change,” which feels very cool.

I am personally partial to the $10 bill.
